Tips
Improve your browsing experience
There are ways to make your internet browsing experience even better.
- Download and install Google's Web Accelerator, a little known application that allows you to surf more efficiently using a number of behind-the-scene tweaks. Google Accelerator even tells you how much quicker the website response and page opening time has been by displaying how many minutes you have saved during each Internet session.
- If you have to download large files, why not do it at times when fewer people are logged on to the internet? Using an application like Free Download Manager early in the morning allows you to work while the majority of English and American internet users are offline. By doing so, you can take advantage of the reduced traffic and increase your browsing speed substantially.
- Use multi-tabs browsers like Firefox, Internet Explorer 7 or Maxthon. Multi tabbing allows you to save precious computer resources and at the same time, navigate through several web pages without having to reload them. This allows you to read one page while others load in the background.
- Restart your browser from time to time. As simple as this may sound, restarting your browser in many case solves the problem of slow browsing, especially if you are using Firefox.
