Resources you can use to train your staff online including some that are free:
- Dell offers an E-learning service on its website that would cost a significant amount if sold as a product. You can try the courses for yourself to see whether they are suitable for your business and the packages include unlimited usage. You need not buy a Dell computer to be able to use the service.
- YouTube provides an extensive range of training videos all available on the internet and they are completely free. Just type in the area of interest and see the wide range of videos available.
- HP Learning Centre offers free online courses for which you need to enrol. The range of courses might not be as wide as Dell's but they do cover the most popular applications like Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows XP. The courses are also provided by award winning teachers and tutors.
- Should you want to improve your small business, Trainingnews offers a range of free courses ranging from "starting your own business" to "3D Studio Max tutorial".
- Learning space is an Open University project with more than 100 courses available. The courses have been designed by academics with business end users in mind. There are more than 50 courses in Business and Management, IT and Technology.
